Victor Nabasu

I’ve worked on projects ranging from satellite modeling to domain-specific languages and AI-powered web apps. In my free time I leetcode, play Japanese RPGs, and explore new AI and DevOps tech.

My first degree is in Electrical Engineering, so I’m on a deliberate “CS from scratch” quest to deepen my fundamentals — building databases, DSLs and systems from the ground up and writing about each step on my blog.

Currently seeking new opportunities to apply my skills and grow as a developer. If you have an interesting project or role in mind, let’s connect.

What I do

How I can help

Fromdatamodeltodeployedproduct,Idesign,buildandshipsoftwareend-to-endthenwriteabouthoweachpieceismade.

01

Full-stack web

End-to-end product builds with React, Next.js and TypeScript — from data model to polished, responsive UI.

A polished web product on screen — a clean Next.js dashboard or landing page rendered on a MacBook, warm editorial lighting.
02

APIs & backends

Typed APIs, auth, and PostgreSQL data layers; serverless on Vercel or containers where it fits.

A dark developer scene — a terminal / API client showing structured JSON beside a Postgres schema diagram; typed data flowing.
03

Systems & fundamentals

Low-level work in C and Python — databases from scratch, DSLs, networking and image processing.

A low-level close-up — a terminal compiling C / a gdb session, or a macro shot of a circuit board; the machine underneath.
04

AI-assisted delivery

Pragmatic use of AI APIs and tooling to ship faster without losing control of the architecture.

A code editor with an AI assistant panel (Cursor / Copilot) suggesting code inline, a subtle accent glow — human-directed AI.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Good to know before we start. Still curious? Get in touch.

Yes — I'm currently open to full-stack / software engineering roles and interesting freelance projects. The fastest way to reach me is the form below or email.

TypeScript, React and Next.js on the front; Node and PostgreSQL on the back; Python and C for systems and data work. I deploy on Vercel and AWS.

Ship small, iterate in the open, and keep the architecture legible. I write build logs on the blog so the reasoning behind each project is documented.
